Question: How many animals are going extinct right at this minute (including sea animals)

Hello! Well the first problem here is that we don’t even know all the animals and living organisms that exists on earth, especially in the ocean and deep ocean! Therefore we can’t put an accurate figure on the number of organisms going extinct. There are 41,415 species on the Red List of endangered species. 16,306 species on earth are close to extinction. HOwever this number could be and probably is far greater than we imagine. Just think of all the creatures living in the ocean that we have never seen before, or the tiny insects and birds living in rainforests, possibly near seen by a human before!
