      Yes, most poisons used to kill animals or insect are dangerous for us. We can resist to larger quantities than them, but our body may often react in similar ways.

      Yes it is. Rat poison works by messing with vitamin K in the body. Vitamin K helps to clot blood which is good. when you fall and cut your knee vitamin K clots the blood which is why the bleeding stops. So in rat poison vitamin K becomes messed up & the poor rat dies from internal bleeding.

      Hello! Maxime and Ann have already given very good answers to this, but yes rat poison is pretty dangerous. Its made up of anticoagulants. So for example if you cut yourself when you fall, your cut might bleed, but usually the blood becomes sticky when it reacts with the air and stops flowing. This protects your cut from becoming infected and forms a clot. An anticoagulent prevents these type of clots forming inside the body and cause internal bleeding, and the rat dies. The problem is rat poison can have the some effect on humans, which is why its always important to label your chemicals, even at home!
