      Hi there, wave energy is a type of renewable energy. It is trying to make electricity from waves that are in the sea. There are different ways to make electricity, some ways are bad for the planet that involve burning something called fossil fuels, like gas. But then there are some ways to make electricity called renewable energies, these include using the wind or in my case, the waves that are in the sea.

      Jake knows more about wave energy than I do. I found this video below about the SeaPower being used in Galway. They wanted to test how strong the SeaPower was and how much electricity it could produce in a big bay, in rough sea conditions.
