So water actually helps all the food you eat move along your gut and bowel in a smooth way. If you’re constipated then drinking water helps to loosen up your poop and makes everything move much ‘smoother’. Your urine is also a liquid fluid right? So your body takes all the food and liquids you drink and your kidney filters out vitamins/minerals, toxic elements present at too high concentrations. In order to remove these toxic parts from the body the kidney needs to dilute them in water and pass it out your body as urine. So you need to drink a few glasses of water a day to help you poop, to help your kidneys keep working!
