      The dead sea has no animals that you can see with the naked eye because there is so much salt in it. Most animals need freshwater or less saline water to live in. However the dead sea can change colour from time to time, because of all the tiny algae that live there such as Dunaliella turn the whole sea red.. it gets confusing Dead Sea and Red sea…. Humans float because of all the salt. The salt in the water makes you lighter than the water and therefore you float.
